According to statistics, the number of people infected with HIV is steadily increasing. To date, about 1 million people have been infected in Russia. Unfortunately, this figure is increasing every day.
It should be noted that in our country among the people living with HIV, the proportion of women increases every year. As a result, the proportion of children who are at the risk of perinatal infection, as well as HIV-positive women, need help and support.
In order to improve the professional level of medical workers, a Regional Interdisciplinary Practical Seminar "Issues of Helping HIV-Infected Women and Their Children in St. Petersburg" will be held.
