Dear colleagues, friends!

It truly gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th International Congress -2018 on Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Moscow (SMINS) on 21-22 April 2018. Minimally invasive neurosurgery has become the standard of treatment for patients with CNS diseases.  It involves endovascular, endoscopic, stereotactic radiosurgery and functional neurosurgery.

Today, as never before, fast development of our specialty, a widespread use of advanced neuroimaging technologies prompt us to focus on the new potentials of diagnosis and treatment of CNS pathology, as well as to obtain modern knowledge and to seek new ways of professional education of specialists.

Thanks to the joint efforts of members of the International programme committee we’ll put together an interesting scientific programme covering vitally important areas of interest in neurosurgery. An outstanding neurosurgical faculty from different countries will be the highlight of ISMINS-2018.

We believe that this ISMINS will be the most comprehensive and intensive educational experience in neurosurgery, especially in minimally-invasive approaches in neurosurgery.

There will be the opportunity to enjoy the company of colleagues and friends from different cities and countries who have one thing in common – the love and devotion to our profession.

We hope you will enjoy the beauty of Moscow in Spring and spend pleasant time here!

Welcome to ISMINS-2018!

Dear colleagues and friends of ISMINS,

Welcome to the 4TH ISMINS in April 2018 in Moscow!

The motto of the meeting this time is Emerging Techniques and Indications.

This is the opportunity to learn about the most exciting new developments in minimally invasive neurosurgery, to see cutting edge technology, to update your knowledge and to meet peers from all around the world...

ISMINS has been growing at an unprecedented pace within the past few years reflecting both multitude and diversity.  ISMINS now is a true and vibrating world society operating all over the globe!  What was a club of friends a couple of decades ago has become a world-wide net for scientific exchange, innovation, mutual support and education.

Minimally invasive neurosurgery has become one of the most important areas of added competence within neurosurgery.  It is the field with the biggest progress being made and it has a larger impact than ever before.  Actually, the concepts of our sub-specialty have penetrated the whole field of neurosurgery changing its core forever.

ISMINS has become a very busy society.  In addition to the big biennial meetings we have organized Interim meetings concentrating more on education, and we propose more focused conferences by the label “Under the auspices of ISMINS”.  We stay connected with our membership via our website and regular newsletters.

ISMINS will welcome you in Moscow between 21-22 April 2018 with a most attractive program.  The Scientific Program Committee has been working hard to prepare a program that we are sure will be of great interest and stimulate discussion.  There will be workshops, breakfast seminars, plenary and parallel sessions, award ceremonies, debates, sponsored lunch symposia, oral and poster presentations of the newest research.  And last not least, this is the time to meet old friends and to make new friends in a most pleasant atmosphere.

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Yoko Kato
